Full Research Reports
Each of the seven linked studies within the WOW project will result in a major report, including:
A systematic review of European research, policy and legislation on digitalised violence against women.
The first Europe-wide survey of women’s experiences of DVAW and its impact on wellbeing (minimum n = 5000).
Country-specific qualitative studies with LGBTQIA+ women in Poland, Black and minority ethnic women in Ireland, young women in Sweden, victim-support professionals in Spain, and police and law enforcement in the UK and Ireland .
Summary Briefings
Short, accessible summaries highlighting the essential insights — ideal for frontline workers, policymakers, educators, and community organisations.
Policy and Practice Briefs
Targeted recommendations for national and European policymakers, justice agencies, support services, technology companies and educational institutions. These documents will translate research into practical, actionable changes.
Academic Publications
The project will generate at least ten peer-reviewed journal articles across criminology, victimology, psychology, and digital violence research, alongside opportunities for a dedicated book and special journal issue .
Public Engagement Outputs
We will publish:
infographics,
teaching materials,
multi-language resources,
and a short animated awareness video
to support wider understanding and prevention of DVAW across Europe.
